World Cup = Metricsystem

Stephen Colbert is funny.
I'm a lazy blogger, but I found this great clip where he sarcastically asserts that Americans should "...reject The World Cup like the metricsystem!".
It was fun watching Australia score their first World Cup goals this morning; Rosicky and the Czechs look pretty handy, too.

I shall begin to critique the action shortly, but for now a moment of levtiy.

That guy had some funny stuff to say. I watched america (yes america is playing in the world cup) get the crap beat out of them by czechoslovakia. I think the guys from the red, white and blue forgot they were playing soccer. It looked like a practice game. Maybe we should just stick to that game were you throw the ball at guys and run away from them.

Ralph,

i just finished watching the Italy vs. America game. the refs should be fired! I watched the England game the other day. The last 10 minutes were phenomenal!

Anyway. I really appreciate the encouragement you give me on my writing and photos, they mean a lot to me. Thank you. You have a way with words that i believe sums up who i am and what i am passionate about. Because of that amazing ability i was wondering if you could possibly write up a bio of sorts for me. Just something that really captures what i am about and what I'm trying to say through my images and my life. I know you don't know a lot about me but maybe if you could come up with some questions that would give you a better understanding of me i could answer them and you could write something based on that.

How does that sound? I would be honored to have you write it for me.

Let me know what you think.

Corey
