Soapbox confusion

Testing, testing, 1-2, 1-2.

This is my first blog... my first update. Would like to keep you all in the loop. Perhaps an opportunity to jump onto a digital soapbox.

Why do we choose to get onto soapboxes when we want to make a statement? Surely a larger, more stable type of box would be a preferable choice. Perhaps an elephant box? Does anyone have any answers?
